On April 22, 2007 The Attorney General`s Office of the Republic announced that Nabor Vargas Garcia aka "El Debora" was arrested along with 18 other people. Vargas Garcia was the leader of "Los Zetas" Group in the State of Campeche. They were arrested on charges of organized crime, kidnapping and possession of firearms and explosives that are only permitted for us by the Military. Members were of "Los Zetas" were arrested at different safe houses where they held the kidnapped victims. Upon arrest Federal Police Seized weapons, ammo and Uniforms used by AFI agents (Federal Agency of Investigations). At the house were Vargas Garcia was at, there was a clash between the Federal Police and "Los Zeta" members where two members of the criminal organization were killed.The individual that were arrested during the operation were; Nabor Vargas García aka "El Débora" who claimed to be associated with "Los Zetas", Wilberth Estrada Zeferino aka "El Chivigón", José Antonio Salazar Concha aka "El Sonrisas", Mario Alberto Bernal Cruz aka "El Cachetes", Carlos Ferrer Alamina aka "El Carlín", Sergio Eduardo González Escalante aka "El Gali" Francisco Arsenio Ferrer Kuri aka "Pancho" or "Paco", Alfredo Díaz Martínez aka "El Pato" or "el Pintor" Ubaldo Obando DÍaz, Miguel Estrada Zeferino, Higinio Cabrera Zacarias, Eleno Ferrer Jiménez, Ramiro García, Venancio Chable Gómez aka "El Furcio", Amador Balderas Padilla aka "El Mayín", Carlos Piña Cavazos aka "El Carlitos", Rigoberto Rosales Villarreal aka "El Rigo", María Olimpia Montoya, Patricio Esquivel Pérez aka "El Pato".
