Simi Valley Police Seized 30 Kilos of Cocaine and $400,000Posted on February 12, 2014
Detectives with the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Investigations Section searched two residences in the Artesia, California area. The searches were part of an investigation on drug trafficking in the Southern California area.
Detectives recovered 30 kilograms of cocaine and over $400,000 in cash. Detectives also located a AK-47 and a loaded 9mm handgun. Officials estimated the street value of the cocaine to be $2.4 million.
At this time, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
