American female arrested at airport with 2.5 kilos of heroin in her luggage

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced today that its officers at Pearson International Airport seized approximately 2.5 kilos of heroin worth over $990,000.

On September 7, 2005, a United States resident, who arrived on a flight from India, was charged with importing a controlled substance after CBSA officers found the heroin in her false sided luggage. The 23-year-old female was turned over to the RCMP.
