DEA seized 13 Kilos of Heroin Stamped with Major BrandsPosted on January 31, 2014
A joint operation involving the DEA's New York divison, the New York City Police and the New York State Police resulted in a seized of 13 kilograms of heroin. Officials state, the $8 million worth of heroin was found at an apartment located at 2910 Wallace Ave Apt. #2E in the Bronx.
The apartment was described as a "Heroin Mill." Agents and Officers lcoated approximatley 13 kilograms of heroin and hundreds of thousands of individual glassine bags of heroin inside the apartment. The glassine bags were stamped with numerous brand names to include: “NFL”, “government shutdown,” “iPhone”, and “Olympics 2012.” Drug dealers often use this technique as branding their heroin for sale.
Ausgustin RIvera, Aka "Jose Then" and Cristino Then were both charged with CPCS 1st, CPCS 3rd and criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd.
