Marijuana Plants seized in St. Thomas Township, PAPosted on August 26, 2000
On the afternoon of Saturday, August 26, 2000, law enforcement officers with the Franklin County Drug Task Force found a total of twenty six marijuana plants growing at several locations in St. Thomas Township. All of the potted plants were approximately 6-7 ft. tall and were hidden in thick brush. The total street value of the seized plants is estimated at approximately $50,000.
The Franklin County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Drug Law Enforcement and the Pennsylvania State Police 's Aviation Patrol Unit 3 during this marijuana eradication operation.
