Marijuana found in tractor trailer in GeorgiaPosted on April 24, 2005
On April 24, 2005 State troopers in Georgia stopped a tractor trailer for speeding and following to close on Interstate 59. Troopers were given permission to search the vehicle by the driver and during the search officers found 75 bales of marijuana hidden within the trailer. The total weight of the drugs seized was 1,694 pounds. The driver Christopher Parkin was driving from Arizona to New York. Parkin was arrested and charged trafficking marijuana.
