Illinois State Police seize over 3,000 Pounds of Marijuana in Chicago

On February 3, 2010 the Illinois State Police Narcotics Interdiction Unit (NARCINT) conducted an investigation into a warehouse in Franklin Park, IL.  While at the warehouse, investigators spoke to a group of four people who were involved with a tractor trailer, a passenger vehicle, and the actual warehouse.  These conversations led to the discovery of 3,450 pounds of marijuana that had been hidden in a load of citrus, inside of the tractor trailer.  

The four subjects were arrested for Narcotics Trafficking and transported to the Cook County Jail.  The suspects were identified as 45 year old Jose Luis Jimenez of Chicago, 31 year old Albertico Rosaldo De Jesus of Veracruz, Mexico, 28 year old Jose Garcia-Cavazos of Mission, TX, and 31 year old Raquel Sanchez of Mission, TX.
