Illinois State Trooper seizes 90 pounds of High Grade MarijuanaPosted on January 16, 2012
On January 16, 2012 an Illinois State Police Trooper pulled a Toyota Tundra pickup truck over for several minor traffic offenses. The driver of the truck was identified as 35 year old Abdullah Abdur-Rahim from Alston, Massachusetts. The trooper ultimately searched the vehicle and located approximately 90 pounds of grade marijuana that was inside of several large duffel bags in the the cargo area of the truck.
Abdur-Rahim was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. The Illinois State Police estimated that the seized marijuana had a value of over $350,000.
