3 month Investigation Results in Seizure of 125 Lbs of Marijuana and 1 Kilo of CocainePosted on February 14, 2014
A joint operation involving the Stark County Sheriff’s Office Metro Narcotics Unit, FBI Safe Streets Task Force, BCI, Medina County Drug Unit, Ohio Highway Patrol, Massillon Police Department and the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office has ended with the seizure of 125 pounds of marijuana and one kilogram of cocaine.
The three-month investigation resulted with seven people expecting to be charged. Officials have estimated the street value of the marijuana to be $125,000 and the cocaine to be $40,000. The case is currently being reviewed by the Northern District of Ohio’s U.S. Attorney’s Office.
