In the late evening hours of Monday, September 15, 2014, U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Calexico station in Calexico, California, observed a suspicious situation on remote video surveillance.
Two subjects traveling from Mexico were spotted carrying large bundles toward the International Boundary Fence. They then crossed over the fence and ran north into the U.S. toward Interstate 8. The subjects were quickly intercepted by Border Patrol agents and found to be in the possession of three large bundles of marijuana.
The two men and their marijuana were subsequently handed over to the Imperial County High Intensity Drug Traffic Areas Task Force.
