Woman arrested for cooking meth in Loves Park, IllinoisPosted on July 26, 2012
On July 26, 2012 officials with the Winnebago County Sheriffs Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Illinois State Police executed a search warrant for a meth lab at 5112 Pebble Lane in Loves Park, IL. Investigators found ingredients for making methamphetamine as well as finished meth product at the residence. Three children were living at this mobile home which is in a trailer park neighborhood. The ages of the children were 8, 13, and 16. Their mother, 44 year old Diane R. Balcom, was arrested and transported to the Winnebago county Jail.
Balcom was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine material, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, participation of methamphetamine manufacturing, and meth related child endangerment.
