The 41-year-old female resident of Phoenix, Arizona, was referred to Homeland Security Investigations. Her narcotics were seized.
That same day, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Port of San Luis referred a Ford truck for further inspection.
A search of the vehicle uncovered 3 packages of methamphetamine hidden inside the truck’s manifold. The find weighed over 6 pounds, with an estimated street value of $18,000.
The driver, a 49-year-old male Mexican national, was referred to Homeland Security Investigations. His truck and narcotics were seized.
