$91K Worth of Methamphetamine Seized at Dennis DeConcini Crossing

On Monday, May 5, 2014, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers referred a GMC Sport Utility Vehicle for further inspection at the Dennis DeConcini crossing in Arizona.

A positive canine alert led officers to find 28 packages of methamphetamine concealed inside a custom compartment in a trailer being towed by the vehicle. The estimated street value of this find is almost $91,000.

The driver, a 22-year-old male resident of Tucson, Arizona, was handed over to Homeland Security Investigations. His GMC and methamphetamine were seized.
