Methamphetamine Found Smuggled in Accordion

On Monday, June 23, 2014, an 18-year-old Mexican male was stopped by Customs and Border Protection officers at the Morley Gate crossing in Nogales, Arizona.

The officers soon uncovered 4.5 pounds of methamphetamine concealed inside an accordion the male was carrying with him. The estimated street value of this find is $13,600.

The male was promptly taken into custody and turned over to Homeland Security Investigations. His drugs and musical instrument were seized as evidence.
